Bazu Product Update: Nutrition Tracking and Plate Calculator

Bazu 1.7.3 adds Nutrition, a Premium food and protein tracker that lives right next to your lifts on iPhone and Android, plus a Premium Plate Calculator that shows exactly what goes on each side of the bar.

Two things quietly cost you progress: guessing whether you ate enough protein to recover from yesterday's session, and doing plate math at the bar between sets. This update fixes both, plus a handful of smaller upgrades that make every session a little smoother.

Open Bazu to get the update.

Nutrition (Premium, iPhone and Android)

You trained hard. Now you're guessing whether you hit your protein, because your food lives in another app with its own targets and no idea what you lifted today. Not anymore.

Log meals in Bazu's new Nutrition tab by search, barcode scan, or Manual entry, and see protein, calories, carbs, and fat as eaten, remaining, and target, next to your training.

  • Log your usual meals in one tap with favorites and Copy yesterday
  • Targets you can check, a plain recap of each day, and 7-day averages. No score, no red failure state
  • Works offline, and on iPhone it can also save to Apple Health
  • Clear all your nutrition entries any time in Profile → Data & Privacy

The payoff: you know whether you fueled the work, without a second app. Learn more about Bazu's nutrition tracking.

Plate Calculator (Premium)

Your rest timer is running, the target says 275 lb, and you're at the bar subtracting 45, halving it, and counting plates. Get it wrong and the set you planned isn't the set you lift.

Tap Plate Calculator in the keyboard bar while entering a barbell or EZ bar weight. Bazu shows exactly what goes on each side, using your bar and only the plates you have.

  • Can't load that weight exactly? It offers the nearest loadable weight below and above. Your set only changes if you tap one
  • Set your bar once (Olympic, women's, or custom) and your plates in Workout Settings, in pounds or kilograms

The payoff: the weight you planned is the weight on the bar.
