The training loop

From first tap to useful feedback.

  1. 1

    Bazu reads completed work

Recent working sets provide the evidence; warm-ups stay out of PR, volume, and overload calculations.

  2. 2

    You get one clear target

The active exercise shows the next weight and rep goal, with pending sets prefilled on Pro.

  3. 3

    The next target adapts

Complete the set and guidance updates. Finish the workout to see what to aim for next session.

FAQ

Questions before your first set.

Is progressive overload included in Bazu Free?

Bazu Free gives you the logbook and evidence needed to track progressive overload manually: unlimited history, previous-set context, PRs, estimated 1RM, charts, and insights. Automated weight and rep recommendations are a Bazu Pro feature.

How does Bazu choose a progressive overload target?

Bazu uses recent completed working sets, your training focus, and your selected progression pace. It can recommend building reps at the current weight or increasing load when the rep target has been earned.

Does Bazu generate my whole workout plan?

No. You build or save the routines you want to run. Bazu focuses on logging, progress evidence, and next-set guidance inside your own program.

Do warm-up sets affect the recommendation?

No. Sets marked as warm-ups are excluded from PR, volume, and progressive overload calculations so they do not distort working-set guidance.

How much is Bazu Pro?

Bazu Pro is $4.99 per month or $24.99 per year in the U.S. App Store. Subscriptions are optional and managed through your App Store account.
